My Planet: Incredible Images Entered Into the Stenin Int'l Photo Contest
Once a week, Instagram's Community Team challenges aspiring photographers to pour out all of their creativity in their works. Numerous professionals and amateurs take part in Weekend Hashtag Project (WHP), the social network's weekly competitions for a chance to be featured on the Instagram's blog and account, which has more than 225 million followers.

The WHP series feature designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram's team. This July's projects included #WHPmultiply, #WHPISpyEmojis and  #WHPmood.

With their #WHPmultiply theme, Instagram urged enthusiasts to keep their eyes peeled for repeating patterns and create images that show duplicates of different people, places or things. Hollywood-based photographer Jonathan Goldman met this challenge with a shower of hats; Andrew Kuttler — with a triplet of pastel-colored houses in San Francisco, California; Victor Cheng — with a drone's-eye view of the colorful levels of a Hong Kong elementary school; and Boy Hardy — with the game of light and shadow.

The goal of another challenge was to "spy emojis" — catch smileys and symbols hiding in plain sight. In the photos of Dani de los Muros, his pup Bruma adopted the personas of three wise monkeys, embodying the proverbial principle "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."

Art director Helga Stentzel captured a goggle-eyed smiley in her washing machine, while architect Aida Rivero Díaz found her favorite emoji (not a regular one) in a construction site in Barcelona, Spain.

With their #WHPmood theme, Instagram's team saluted several creative works, including underwater photography by Tessie Wallace, a smoky street of the Cuban capital by Jonathon Collins and a vibrant picnic by Vienna-based photographer Irina.

The photo-sharing platform also runs #WeeklyFluff, presenting awesome animals to the world. This month's cuddly features include Birch, a Goldendoodle that is sometimes described by his human as "part bunny." "When he's not leaping down a grassy hill, Birch can be found chasing his ball at the beach or going for romps with his doodle friends," says the description.

Another furball that has won the Instagram team's attention is this cute seal-point Himalayan cat from Japan that can often be seen soaking in the tub, dressing up and munching on treats together with his brother.

Meet two more stars of Instagram's #WeeklyFluff: Bacalao, a shy, intelligent and loving Spanish Greyhound, captured  in this picture along with some other dogs relaxing on a couch, and Kingston, a tender Pit Bull sharing a kiss with another pooch.
