NATO to Increase Presence in Poland After Warsaw Summit - Stoltenberg

NATO will boost its military presence in Poland after the Warsaw summit, while the numbers and locations of troops are still being discussed, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Monday.

BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – The Warsaw NATO Summit 2016 will take place on July 8-9, with members of the alliance set to discuss increasing military activities on NATO's eastern flank.

"This will be a multinational presence, it will be rotational presence. We have clear proposals on the table from our military planners, we are discussing the exact numbers and locations of this enhanced…presence of NATO troops. We will make decisions by the Warsaw summit… There will be more NATO troops in Poland after the Warsaw summit," Stoltenberg told a press conference.
