ANKARA (Sputnik) — Units of opposition Free Syrian Army have pushed terrorists from 10 villages to the south of Syrian town of Jarabulus, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement on Monday.

The statement does not specify whether the terrorists were members of the Daesh or Kurdish militants linked to the Kurdish Workers' Party, which Ankara considers a terrorist organization.
According to the statement, a total of 400 kilometers (some 249 miles) in northern Syria have been retaken from terrorists since the start of a Turkish military operation dubbed Euphrates Shield.
