WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, the FBI published notes from an interview with Clinton during the Bureau's investigation of her use of a private email server and email account — contrary to established rules and regulations — during her tenure as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.
"The FBI just released the notes on their interviews with Hillary Clinton and one thing is abundantly clear: either Clinton is consistently lying or astonishingly incompetent," McMullin stated on Friday. "Either would make her unfit to be president."
McMullin argued that Clinton’s claims that she did not understand classified markings, and lost track of her communications devices should convince voters that a Clinton presidency "would weaken America and jeopardize our national security."
McMullin, formerly a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operative, launched a last-ditch third party bid for president in August. He is backed by a well-funded super-political action committee (PAC) called Stand Up America. McMullin’s campaign is being coordinated by US political operatives seeking to derail the two major party candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
